Rum Naga Double Cask Aged
The slow fermentation of molasses is driven by the addition of malted Javanese red rice yeast.
It ages in jati barrels, an exotic local wood (Indonesian name for teak) and then in bourbon barrels. It is a rum whose sweetness and subtlety are elegantly balanced by notes of spices and fruits. It is a light, light-colored rum. The nose is delicate and spicy, light notes of pepper, with a delicate increase in cocoa. On the palate we find subtle notes of vanilla, a touch of cinnamon and exotic spices at the end of the mouth.
A balance of flavors not too sweet, with a slight note of flambéed banana. A rum close to nature and at the same time gourmet and refined.
