Rum Summum Cognac Cask Finish is the perfect fusion of Dominican rum aging in Cognac casks from the prestigious cognac cellar J. Normandin-Mercier from Château de La Péraudière. Summum is the Latin word for the absolute excellence, the best, ultimately the final goal. The great rum master and establisher of Summum, Juan Alberto Alvarez, has followed this philosophy of absolute excellence.

Summum Rum Dominican is a series of rum from the Dominican Republic. They are characterised by the traditional smooth and round notes from the Spanish Solera.

Nose: Almond, marzipan and some fruit.

Palate: The taste is powerful and smooth with strong notes of almond and marzipan. The taste is a very good mix of the sweetness from the rum and the dryness from the cognac.
